We are seeking a detail-oriented Data Quality & Cleansing Analyst to support the accuracy, integrity, and completeness of pension scheme data. This role focuses on obtaining, analysing, and cleansing member data to meet regulatory requirements and ensure it is fit for purpose. You will play a key role in identifying inconsistencies, resolving data issues, and improving overall data quality across the scheme.
Key Responsibilities:
• Ensure high standards of data accuracy, quality, and completeness
• Analyse, cleanse, and standardise large datasets to remove errors and inconsistencies
• Maintain and update databases to ensure data is current and reliable
• Identify data gaps and work with relevant stakeholders to obtain missing or correct information
• Perform bulk data updates and corrections
• Conduct data quality assessments and produce regular analysis reports
• Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to support data improvement initiatives
• Follow established processes, project plans, and regulatory recordkeeping guidelines
• Investigate data issues proactively and recommend effective solutions
Key Requirements:
• Strong analytical skills with a focus on data quality and accuracy
• Experience working with large datasets and performing data cleansing activities
• Ability to identify inconsistencies and implement corrective actions
• Good understanding of regulatory requirements in pensions
• Good understanding of DB & DC pension schemes
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Effective communication and stakeholder management abilities
