We’re looking for an experienced Pensions Calculation Analyst to join one of our clients at a particularly busy and exciting time, supporting the delivery of complex calculation work across Defined Benefit pension schemes.
This is a hands-on contract role where you’ll play a key part in analysing, specifying, and validating detailed pension calculations. Working closely with other analysts, developers, and administrators, you’ll translate complex scheme rules and legislation into accurate, high-quality calculation specifications and test outputs.
You’ll be joining a small, collaborative team environment where your expertise will be critical in managing high volumes of work, resolving complex queries, and ensuring robust delivery during a period of increased demand and change.
What you’ll bring:
• Strong Defined Benefit (DB) pensions experience – essential
• Extensive knowledge of manual pension calculations (retirement, transfer, death benefits, etc.)
• Proven experience in calculation analysis, specification, and testing
• Ability to interpret complex scheme rules and legislation with precision
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills
• Experience with Intellipen (highly beneficial)
• A proactive, detail-focused approach with the ability to work independently under pressure
