Our client is a highly respected pensions provider that’s expanding its specialist transitions team — and they’re looking for an experienced Transition Client Relationship Manager to play a key role in delivering seamless onboarding experiences for new Defined Benefit (DB) pension schemes. This is a fantastic opportunity for a pensions professional who thrives on client interaction, complex project delivery, and seeing tangible results from their work.

The Role
As the Transition Client Relationship Manager, you’ll act as the main point of contact for trustees, sponsors, and internal stakeholders throughout the transition process. You’ll oversee all aspects of scheme onboarding — from data migration and benefit specification to member communications — ensuring delivery against agreed budgets, timescales, and quality standards.

Your key responsibilities will include:
• Building strong relationships with clients and stakeholders as the trusted point of contact.
• Leading and coordinating end-to-end transition projects.
• Overseeing core deliverables, including:
-Scheme data migration and analysis
-Preparation of benefit specifications
-Drafting and reviewing member communications
-Monitoring project progress, managing risks, and producing clear written reports.
-Providing technical guidance to colleagues to ensure the highest standards.
-Contributing to the continuous improvement of transition processes.
You’ll bring:
• Proven experience in DB pensions administration and project management.
• Strong relationship management and communication skills.
• Solid understanding of pensions data and technical documentation.
• Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• A collaborative, solutions-focused approach and a commitment to quality.
