Company Profile

Liverpool City Council

Almost £5 billion of regeneration has transformed the city since 2010, with another £9 billion in the pipeline over the next decade.

Our plans include delivering 10,000 new homes, Everton FC’s new stadium, a new cruise terminal, a £25 million TV and film studio, £250 million investment in our road network and 2 million sq ft of commercial office space.

In 2018, once again, we will host the UK’s International Festival of Business, while our world-class cultural events programme will see the return of the Royal De Luxe Giants and the Tall Ships Regatta.

We’re not stopping there. We are bidding to host the 2022 Commonwealth Games and will shortly set out an ambitious programme to be named the UK’s candidate city later this year.

This is a big city with big ambitions – more than 445,000 people live here, over 50,000 students study here and millions visit each year. Ambitious cities need talented people.

If you are talented, driven and highly skilled, we want to hear from you. You can expect a rewarding career in a fast-moving and supportive environment.

Come and be part of a dynamic team working hard to make Liverpool a distinctive global city.
