This impressive,specialist UK Pensions Consulting company are looking to hire a Covenant Consultant to join their growing team.
The Covenant Consultant team are responsible for providing advice to both the Trustees of Defined Benefits schemes and also to the Employers who sponsor the schemes on all aspects of the Employer Covenant .
As a Covenant Consultant you will be involved in all aspects of in-depth reviews with bespoke analysis and modelling, as well as high level desktop assessments. These are typically carried out in relation to corporate transactions or in the context of actuarial valuations. You will also give advice on setting up Employer Covenant monitoring frameworks, agreeing these with the employer, and providing regular updates on the Covenant to the trustees.
Candidates will ideally be qualified as an actuary or an accountant with the relevant body and MUST have significant exposure to Employer Coventant advisiroy work, along with corporate transactional and/or direct client advice/consulting.
First class analytical and communications skills are essential.
Candidates should also have a solid understanding of UK Pensions landscape, particularly around Defined Benefit pension schemes and the latest guidance and regulations from the Pension Regulator.
