£40,000 to £50,000 plus benefits

Actuarial Analyst required by a reputable, independent pension and actuarial firm with operational presence in Guildford. This successful firm is seeking an Actuarial Analyst to support the Scheme Actuaries on a portfolio of DB schemes.

You will be responsible for managing a portfolio of small to medium Defined Benefit pension schemes, working in direct support to the Scheme Actuary. You will be responsible for undertaking and checking basic actuarial calculations such as valuations, benefits, transfer values and PPF levy calculations as well as writing spreadsheets and preparing first drafts of reports. You will attend and prepare for client meetings, gaining closer exposure to the clients.

The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years’ experience working as an Actuarial Analyst/Consultant/Trainee within a similar environment and with an Actuarial/Mathematical degree. You must have Defined Benefit experience. Exams are not essential but would be beneficial.

Remote working is available, up to 3 days per week from home and flexibility will be provided with hours. A comprehensive benefits package and bonus scheme is also on offer.
