An excellent opportunity has arisen with a well established pensions consultancy based in Central London. In this broad role you will be involved in a wide range of pensions administration, management and consultancy tasks. Responsibilities will include day to day management of client relationships with trustees and corporate clients, managing the completion of annual projects (benefit statements, renewals, pension increases and trustee reports) and ad hoc projects, assisting the team with complex individual case work, seeking ways to improve processes and procedures, preparing for and attending trustee meetings, participating in new business activities including completing tender responses and attending pitches, and maintaining an up to date knowledge of technical and legislative developments within the pensions industry. Also from time to time you may be required to travel to other offices. Experience and Skills required: * Pensions administration experience of DB and DC schemes * Third party pensions administration experience is preferred, although not essential * Experience of current pensions legislation and framework * Experience of performing pension administration project based work * Good working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint * Excellent communication skills * Presentation skills * The ability to delegate work priorities to less experienced staff * Strong analytical and problem solving skills * Progression towards or completion of a relevant pensions qualification is desirable
