The in-house pension function of this household name are looking to hire an experienced Pension Technical Team Leader to join their North West based team.
Working closely with the Head of Pensions you will be responsible for managing the development and delivery of pension technical support to all stakeholders within the pensions function, including the Head of Pensions, the trustees and the pension administration team.
You will also be responsible for the day to day management of the small team of technical officers who provide secretarial services to the trustees and who analyse and communicate all legislative and regulatory issues to the broader pensions function.
The successful candidate will have gained significant experience of working within in a consultancy and/or senior technical pensions’ role with either a third party pension consulting firm and/or an in-house pension scheme. You will possess strong knowledge of DB and DC Schemes, including a thorough knowledge of current pension legislation and experience in applying this in a practical manner.
Candidates should be qualified to APMI (or equivalent) and be capable of communicating complex issues efficiently and accurately to a broad range of people with varying degrees of pensions’ knowledge.
You must also possess experience of managing a team of pension technical experts and be able to demonstrate excellent project and time management skills.
