My client, one of the UK’s leading workplace pension funds is looking to hire an experienced Scheme Manager.
The primary purpose of the role is to develop and manage the relationships with and delivery of the highest quality pension service to clients who utilise the firm to provide their staff pension arrangements.
You will be the key contact and focal point for the client, initiating and developing dialogue and communication with the client in order to effectively manage their scheme, and to help refine and improve internal processes to deliver the best outcomes for the client.
You’ll also help to manage internal projects and the budgets for those in relation to projects for your client.
Candidates will have a broad experience of occupational pensions schemes (primarily DB but with some DC and CARE), across a full spectrum of scheme administration, scheme funding, and actuarial valuations etc. Those with a knowledge of scheme investment strategy and actuarial principles are of particular interest.
The role may suit an individual who has been a client manager within a TPA or pension consulting firm, or a part qualified actuary who is looking for a slightly different challenge.
