The Role:

We are recruiting for a pensions administrator to join our friendly TPA in our modern Birmingham city centre office. You’ll be a key team member and play a pivotal role on the wide range of schemes we administer. It’s a great opportunity to take on more responsibility, build on your existing experience, develop new skills and help improve our processes, procedures and service offerings.

As well as the vital day to day pensions administration on the scheme you’ll get to work on projects and ad hoc work which will challenge you in new ways. We'll also support you with professional study to help move your career along.

Some of your main responsibilities will be to:

  • provide a seamless, professional and personal service to meet the needs of our clients and members to give them the best possible experience

  • deal with increasingly complex pensions related queries and requests which span the full pensions lifecycle

  • find ways to improve our client and member service and help to implement these

  • draft admin reports

  • work closely with your colleagues to improve efficiency

  • work on cyclical and ad hoc projects

That’s great. If you’d like to be considered for this opportunity then you'll already have experience of day-to-day pension administration and working on DB, DC and CARE  pension arrangements.

You’ll need to have a good working knowledge of relevant pensions legislation and regulations on pensions administration.

This role will make good use of your professional communication and relationship building skills as you’ll be dealing with a range of people, including colleagues, clients and members. You’ll enjoy working as part of a team but also take responsibility for planning and organising your own time in order to prioritise your work and meet deadlines successfully.
