An exciting opportunity has become available for an Administration Team Leader to join our Third Party Administration department in Birmingham to cover maternity leave from the start of January for up to 15 months.

You’ll have overall responsibility for the day-to-day leadership of a busy and diverse team of administrators inspiring them to achieve success through exceptional client service, the Hymans Robertson way! The role will provide lots of stretch, variety and interesting challenges as we experience continued growth and new business wins, which you’ll play an important part in.

You’ll get to use your leadership skills, admin experience and new ideas to good effect right from the start and you can look forward to developing new skills and ways of working too, with lots of support from us.

Some of your main responsibilities will include:

Leading the team with a positive, motivational approach.

Overseeing all the workflow management, work allocation and projects across the team.

Acting as the main contact for a number of pension schemes, clients and trustees and developing strong and collaborative relationships with the clients and Trustees.

Proactively driving efficiency and continuous improvement within the team and the wider practice.

Recruiting and developing new team members to be the best that they can be.

Contributing to new business tenders and pitches and winning new work in the practice.

You’ll be really strong and confident at applying your practical DB and DC pension scheme knowledge. You’ll have a flair for working with numbers, as well as great communication skills which you’ll use to build relationships with your colleagues and clients.

You’ll be up for a challenge, adaptable and thrive on working under pressure, looking for opportunities coming from challenges, and finding solutions which will make a positive difference to your team and your clients.
