Juliette Lister and Lisa Tremlett are currently assisting a third party pensions company who are presently recruiting for a Pension and Benefits Administrator.

PURPOSE OF THE JOB:
To ensure the effective delivery of a Pensions and Related Benefits administration service to our client, a large investment Bank in accordance with agreed SLAs. To provide accurate and timely information to the bank staff both by telephone, email and in writing. To check the work of fellow colleagues and to contribute to the improvement of processes and document these in relevant manuals and flowcharts. To ensure that all activities are accurately recorded on the workflow system. To act as an effective member of the team assisting others and providing training where required.

OTHER DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE: - Relationships Internal / External:

Regular meetings and daily interaction with the Benefits Team Leader. Regular meetings with other members of the team. Daily telephone contact with Bank staff, Line Managers and Coverage Officers.

Business Impact: The client receive a first class Benefits administration service in line with agreed SLAs. Information on the service provided is available in a timely manner through accurate reporting to the Team Leader.

Autonomy, Planning Horizon & Timeframe: The jobholder operates at an administrative level within the HR Business. The service is dictated by agreed SLAs with the client.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS:-
• Detailed knowledge of administering Defined Contribution Occupational Pension Schemes and some knowledge of Defined Benefit schemes
• Familiar with using Pension quotation systems, HR and Workflow systems.
• A working knowledge and good level of expertise in the use of Word, Excel and Email.
• Defined Contributions (DC) experience essential.
• Defined Benefits (DB) experience is HIGHLY desirable.
