Pension Scheme Actuary, leading independent consultancy

• Act as Scheme Actuary to a portfolio of pension schemes, delivering clear, pragmatic and high-quality advice to trustees and other key stakeholders.  Lead the delivery of complex actuarial calculations, valuations and strategic projects, ensuring work is completed to the highest professional and regulatory standards. 
• Manage client engagements from inception through to completion, taking responsibility for project planning, budgets, timescales and stakeholder management. 
• Lead, mentor and develop colleagues, fostering a culture of collaboration, continuous learning and technical excellence. 
• Share specialist knowledge across the wider team, contributing to best practice, technical development and thought leadership initiatives. 

• Qualified Actuary (FIA/FFA) with Scheme Actuary certification, or the ability to obtain certification immediately. 
• Proven experience advising Trustee Boards and managing a portfolio of Scheme Actuary appointments. 
• Strong understanding of the UK defined benefit pensions market and the challenges facing schemes and stakeholders.
