You’ll manage a small in-house team, work alongside senior stakeholders and trustees, oversee external providers and play a key role in how the pensions function develops.

There’s a real mix of people management, pensions operations, governance, projects, supplier management and continuous improvement. If you’re someone who likes getting involved, spotting what could work better and actually making those changes happen, you’ll have plenty to get your teeth into.
What you’ll actually be doing:
• Leading and developing a team.
• Taking ownership of pensions operations and administration.
• Managing key external providers and advisers.
• Working with senior stakeholders and trustees.
• Driving improvements across processes and member experience.
• Supporting governance, projects and strategic initiatives.
• Managing budgets and financial activity.
• Deputising for the Head of Pensions.
Who would suit this?
A strategic thinker, with solid pensions experience and business acumen who is ready to step up and have more influence.
A wealth of experience across DB and DC pensions, previous people-management experience and a strong understanding of pensions administration, calculations, systems and governance.
