A leading specialist pension insurer is seeking an experienced Operational Readiness Manager to support the successful onboarding of Defined Benefit pension schemes and client transitions. Working closely with third-party administrators and senior stakeholders, you will lead operational readiness activity, ensuring schemes are implemented smoothly, risks are managed effectively, and strong customer outcomes are delivered.
Key responsibilities
- Lead operational readiness for DB pension scheme onboarding projects.
- Manage implementation risks, governance, testing, and go-live readiness.
- Build strong relationships with third-party administrators and internal stakeholders.
- Produce management reporting and readiness updates for senior leadership.
- Drive process improvements across pension administration and service delivery.
About you
- Strong DB pensions experience, ideally within buy-in/buy-out or scheme implementation environments.
- Proven experience of pension scheme onboarding and transition management.
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and influencing skills.
- Strong project delivery and governance experience.
- Comfortable working with complex pension data and administration models.
