Does your current role offer a genuinely varied pensions role with a strong client base, senior exposure and the opportunity to take ownership of complex work?
As Senior Trustee Executive you’ll be advising trustee boards and clients on a broad range of pensions matters, from day-to-day issues through to more strategic and complex decisions. You’ll have a high level of client contact and will be expected to bring your own judgement to the advice you provide.
The role would suit someone who has built solid pensions experience and is now looking for greater responsibility, more variety in their work and the opportunity to work closely with senior clients.
The role
You’ll be involved in:
• Advising trustee boards and clients on complex pensions matters.
• Working through technical and strategic issues and providing clear recommendations.
• Supporting clients with governance, risk and wider scheme strategy.
• Providing scheme secretariat support, including preparing for and attending trustee meetings, coordinating agendas and minutes, and ensuring actions are followed through.
• Working closely with other advisers and specialists where required.
• Identifying improvements and helping clients put them into practice.
• Managing and developing long-term client relationships.
• Taking responsibility for your own portfolio of work and contributing to wider team objectives.
You’ll need:
• A strong technical understanding of pensions and scheme secretariat expertise.
• Experience advising clients and/or trustee boards.
• Experience in a scheme secretariat or trustee support capacity.
• The confidence to make recommendations and explain your reasoning.
• Strong communication and relationship management skills.
• Good commercial judgement.
• A practical approach to solving complex problems.
• A desire to continue developing professionally.
