Lead, develop and inspire a high-performing pensions administration team.

We're looking for an experienced Pensions Administration Team Leader to oversee a team of administrators delivering a first-class service across complex defined benefit pension schemes.

This is an excellent opportunity for a pensions professional with strong technical knowledge and leadership experience to play a key role in service delivery, team development and process improvement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, mentor and develop a team of Pension Administrators.
  • Manage workloads and ensure service levels and deadlines are achieved.
  • Oversee pension administration activities including retirements, transfers, leavers, deaths and member queries.
  • Manage pensioner payroll processes and associated controls.
  • Handle complex pension cases and provide technical guidance to the team.
  • Support year-end activities, reporting requirements and audit processes.
  • Drive continuous improvement, training initiatives and best practice across the function.
  • Deputise for the Pensions Administration Manager when required.

About You

  • Proven experience in defined benefit pension administration.
  • Previous experience leading, supervising or managing a team.
  • Strong payroll knowledge and experience.
  • Excellent Excel, analytical and numerical skills.
  • Outstanding communication and customer service abilities.
  • Professional pensions qualification desirable.
