Juliette Lister and Lisa Tremlett are currently assisting a well respected Pensions Client who are seeking Senior Pensions Administrators working on a hybrid basis where you will share your time between the Leeds office and home. Part Time Opportunities considered.
Quality Assurance is a growing area - It’s a hot topic!
The team is small but growing and all have a background in administration and are genuinely interested in “making pension schemes perform better for everyone” with the focus being on regularly reviewing administration real world cases, practices and systems to ensure efficiency (makes it better for administrators) and accuracy (makes it better for our members).
You will be accountable for:
- Appling your technical expertise and detailed pension calculation knowledge to review case work and processes, ensuring accuracy and quality.
- Working as a team to conduct audits and quality assurance for set processes within our Defined Benefit and Defined Contribution administration function, providing summary reports of your findings and making recommendations for improvements.
- Working alongside the QA Team Guide you will have the opportunity to develop the QA team’s systems and processes, root cause analysis programme and complaints review procedure.
- Delivering exceptional service to colleagues, members, and employers, ensuring compliance with service levels and striving for customer delight at all times.
- Completing monthly QA tasks in line with established processes, maintaining accountability for all aspects of the QA Pensions Administrator role.
- Partnering with QA team members and other departments to conduct User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for new system releases and related updates.
- Ensuring the accuracy of member and employer data, taking ownership of your personal work quality while contributing to team performance.
- Conducting peer reviews of colleagues’ work, ensuring consistency and precision.
Skills & Experience:
- Proven and relevant pensions administration experience including manual benefit calculations is essential
- Understanding of User Acceptance Testing of system changes and new calculation implementation is desirable (training will be provided).
- This role demands a keen eye for detail and a questioning attitude.
- Inquisitive mindset enabling you to navigate complex scenarios and continuous improvement with confidence.
- Collaborative communication skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving when engaging with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
This role offers hybrid working and the office is located in central Leeds, 5 minutes’ walk from the train station.
