A fantastic opportunity for an experienced DB pensions specialist to join a growing pensions business as a Senior Pensions Calculation Analyst.
You'll play a key role in the development, testing and maintenance of pension calculations, ensuring scheme benefits are calculated accurately and efficiently while supporting automation, compliance and service improvement initiatives.
The role:
- Analyse scheme rules and pension legislation to produce detailed calculation specifications.
- Lead the testing and validation of DB and DC pension calculations.
- Support calculation automation and system enhancements.
- Liaise with actuaries, clients and internal stakeholders on complex benefit queries.
- Mentor colleagues and contribute to continuous improvement projects.
About you:
- Extensive experience in UK pensions administration and pension calculations.
- Strong knowledge of Defined Benefit pensions, including retirement, transfer and death benefits.
- Experience interpreting scheme rules and pension legislation.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving and stakeholder management skills.
- Advanced Excel and pensions systems experience.
