Behind every successful pension administration service is a commitment to quality, accuracy, and continuous improvement. This is your opportunity to play a key role in protecting those standards and helping shape the future of Defined Benefit pensions administration.

You will combine your technical pensions expertise with a naturally curious and analytical mindset and dig into complex cases, identifying trends and risks, and helping teams deliver better outcomes for pension schemes and their members.

Why join?

This is a high-profile role with visibility across the business, offering the chance to work on a wide variety of projects and initiatives that genuinely matter.

• Influence quality standards across complex Defined Benefit pension schemes.
• Work closely with technical experts, administration teams, and business leaders.
• Support major industry initiatives, including data quality improvement and pensions dashboard readiness.
• Drive meaningful change through insight, analysis, and practical recommendations.
• Build your expertise in governance, risk, quality assurance, and operational excellence.

What you'll be doing
• Deliver risk-based quality assurance reviews across Defined Benefit pensions administration activities.
• Review calculations, member data, processes, controls, and administration activities to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Support assurance activity for new scheme implementations, process changes, remediation exercises, and complex casework.
• Provide independent oversight of higher-risk and business-critical activities.
• Analyse findings to identify trends, root causes, and opportunities for improvement.
• Produce clear, insightful reporting and practical recommendations that drive positive change.
• Collaborate with administration, technical, and data specialists to embed best practice and improve quality outcomes.
• Champion a supportive, learning-focused quality culture that balances challenge with collaboration.

What we're looking for
• Strong Defined Benefit pensions administration experience and technical knowledge.
• Previous experience in quality assurance, audit, technical review, or oversight activities.
• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to identify trends, risks, and root causes.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality outcomes.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.

What you'll receive
• A competitive salary and market-leading bonus scheme.
• Comprehensive study support and professional qualification funding.
• Salary progression linked to exam success and professional development.
• Ongoing learning and career development opportunities.
• A supportive and experienced team invested in your success.
• Hybrid working and flexibility to support work-life balance.
• The opportunity to build a rewarding career in a growing and evolving organisation.

If you're ready to use your pensions expertise to make a real impact, we'd love to hear from you.
