This is a chance to step into a role where no two days look the same—supporting trustee boards, shaping governance outcomes, and playing a key role in how complex pension schemes are run, improved, and future-proofed.
You’ll sit at the centre of trustee decision-making, working directly with chairs, trustees, advisers, and scheme sponsors on everything from routine governance to high-impact strategic change projects.
What you’ll be doing:
• Acting as a key point of support for trustee boards and pension scheme stakeholders
• Driving forward governance activity including meetings, actions, risk registers, and regulatory requirements
• Coordinating and improving scheme operations, from member communications to annual reporting cycles
• Managing adviser and supplier relationships to ensure schemes run smoothly and effectively
• Getting involved in major projects such as scheme redesign, de-risking strategies, and wind-up activity
• Helping shape client relationships and supporting wider business growth initiatives
What you’ll bring:
• Strong pensions experience (DB schemes essential), ideally 5–10 years
• Confidence working with senior stakeholders and external advisers
• A solid grasp of pensions governance and technical scheme matters
Why this role is different:
• Real exposure to senior decision-makers and complex trustee environments
• A role where you genuinely influence outcomes, not just administer them
• A varied workload spanning governance, projects, and client relationships
• Competitive salary, annual bonus, generous pension, private healthcare, and wider benefits
• A culture that values initiative, curiosity, and doing things properly—not just quickly
If you’re looking for a role that stretches you, gives you visibility, and puts you right at the heart of pension scheme strategy and governance, this is it.
