About the role
- Act as the principal governance adviser to the Trustee Board and Committees
- Manage the annual cycle of Trustee and Committee meetings, including agendas and papers
- Draft clear, high‑quality minutes, resolutions and governance documentation
- Maintain and develop the scheme’s governance framework and regulatory compliance
- Liaise effectively with Trustees, senior executives and external advisers
- Support statutory requirements, trustee training and governance change initiatives
About you
- Experience of large DB pension scheme governance, ideally as a Scheme Secretary
- Strong knowledge of UK pensions legislation and trustee governance standards
- Confidence and gravitas to influence senior stakeholders
