Location: Flexible location / Homeworker – the successful candidate ideally be willing to be office based in Gloucester one day per week

The opportunity: 

We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic, proactive professional to help support the delivery of an effective and efficient service to members of the scheme. You will play an important role in supporting Zurich’s UK pension arrangements which have assets exceeding £6bn and supporting a membership of over 40,000.

In this role, you will support the delivery of high-quality systems and data management across the UK Pensions Team. You’ll support the provision of accurate management information reporting, supporting bulk data processes, and helping to support continuous improvement initiatives.

What will you be doing? 

  • Support the management of systems and provide support that meets the requirements of the UK Pensions and Benefit Team.
  • Provide effective support to the management of systems projects.
  • Support the provision of data to internal and external sources.
  • Support the development of improved ways of working within the UK Pensions & Benefits Team.
  • Manage bulk processes/mailings.

What are we looking for?

  • Proficient in Microsoft 365 applications, including Excel (with Power Query), Word, PowerPoint, Access, Project, and Power BI.
  • Experience of pensions administration software would be advantageous.
  • Experience of administering pension schemes and of defined benefit and defined contribution pension arrangements
  • Knowledge of Pension regulations relating to UK Pension Schemes would be advantageous
  • Ability to analyse and interpret statistical data to support decision-making.
  • Project Management Skills would be advantageous.
  • Good influencing skills
  • Able to work independently and collaboratively within cross-functional teams.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills – ability to communicate in plain English.
