Ready to lead from the front in one of the most complex and high-profile areas of pensions?

We’re looking for a senior pensions leader to take ownership of a large, high-performing team (40+ specialists) delivering end-to-end GMP solutions for UK DB schemes. This is a pivotal role where people leadership and technical credibility go hand in hand.

You’ll be driving delivery across GMP reconciliation, equalisation and rectification projects—ensuring quality, innovation, and exceptional client outcomes at every stage.

What you’ll be doing:
• Leading, inspiring, and developing a sizeable team of pensions and actuarial professionals
• Overseeing multiple complex client projects, ensuring delivery to the highest standards
• Acting as a trusted advisor to clients on technical and legislative pension matters
• Driving innovation and continuous improvement across GMP-related services
• Playing a key role in business growth, including client engagement and supporting new opportunities
• Owning budgets, forecasting, and strategic planning for your function

What we’re looking for:
• Proven experience managing large teams (40+) of technical pensions professionals
• Strong, hands-on GMP expertise (reconciliation, equalisation, rectification)
• A confident leader who can operate at both strategic and operational levels
• Commercial awareness with experience of budgeting and forecasting
• Strong client-facing skills, with the ability to influence at Trustee/Board level
