Change How People Experience Their Pension

Forget templated member booklets and tick-box communications plans.
This is an opportunity to join a highly respected, boutique consultancy that’s redefining how pension schemes engage with their members. Creative, strategic and genuinely people-first, this team partners with leading schemes to deliver communications that don’t just inform — they empower.

We’re looking for someone with a strong defined benefit pensions background who can turn complexity into clarity and technical detail into meaningful member experiences.

If you understand pensions and love using words, ideas and digital thinking to make a difference — this could be the role that sets you apart.

The Role

As part of this dynamic consultancy team, you’ll manage your own portfolio of clients and projects. You’ll balance strategy with hands-on delivery, creativity with precision, and autonomy with collaboration.

You’ll be trusted to bring ideas forward; challenge thinking and elevate standards.

You’ll be collaborating with amazing clients working creatively to:
• Create and deliver engaging communications strategies, plans and proposals
• Write clear, accessible content that helps members make informed decisions
• Collaborate on website development and digital member journeys
• Manage projects from concept through to delivery
• Review and sign off digital and print communications
• Build strong, trusted client relationships
• Support new business activity and contributing fresh ideas

What They’re Looking For:
• A solid defined benefit pensions background
• Experience in a communications role (agency, consultancy, press office or in-house)
• Exceptional writing skills — clear, concise and human
• Strong organisational and project management ability
• Confidence juggling multiple priorities
• Advanced MS Office skills and strong presentation capability
• Digital awareness and confidence

Why This Opportunity Stands Out
This team genuinely believes great work comes from balanced, motivated people — not long hours and rigid structures.

You can expect:
• Fully remote working
• A low-hours culture focused on outcomes, not presenteeism
• Generous holiday leave
• Hot-desking allowance
• Income protection, critical illness and life assurance
• A collaborative, close-knit and forward-thinking environment

This is a rare opportunity to join an team that combines consultancy-level creativity with genuine flexibility and trust.
