We’re seeking a Senior Operations Manager with strong pensions expertise to drive service excellence, lead high-performing teams, and deliver positive outcomes for members across Defined Benefit (DB), Defined Contribution (DC), and hybrid arrangements.
What you’ll do:
- Oversee day-to-day operations and ensure KPIs are met
- Align resources to demand forecasts and set strategic priorities
- Use data and MI to improve decision-making and operational performance
- Manage escalations and implement plans to prevent repeat issues
- Drive process improvements and embed compliance with HMRC and pensions legislation
- Build a coaching culture that empowers teams and enhances capability
- Present performance updates to senior stakeholders
What we’re looking for:
- Proven leadership and operational management experience
- PMI qualification (or working towards)
- Strong knowledge of UK pensions legislation, scheme rules, and regulatory requirements
- Experience managing DB/DC/hybrid schemes
- Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to thrive in a change-focused environment
