We’re looking for an experienced payroll professional to lead a critical service for a large pension scheme fund. You’ll manage delivery of c.£10m of payments monthly and ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements. 


What You’ll Do 
  • Lead accurate, timely pension payments and statutory returns 
  • Oversee robust controls, reconciliations and processes 
  • Manage data integrity checks, mortality tracing, and overpayment recovery 
  • Supervise and mentor a small payroll team 
What We’re Looking For 
  • Payroll qualification and experience running large payrolls 
  • Preferably knowledge of pensions including LGPS and HMRC regulations 
  • Proven ability to lead, solve problems, and deliver results under pressure
