Are you a data-driven pensions specialist with a passion for precision, problem-solving, and process improvement? This is your chance to play a key role in transforming how clients experience data migration and automation across the pensions landscape.

The Role
As a Transition Data and Technical Specialist, you’ll ensure the smooth, accurate migration, transformation, and analysis of pension scheme data. You’ll also configure and test automated benefit calculations within leading administration systems — helping deliver seamless client onboarding and first-class service.

Your work will have real impact: shaping tools and processes that make pension scheme transitions more efficient, accurate, and client-focused.

Key Responsibilities
• Lead on data analysis, transformation, and migration for DB pension scheme transitions.
• Configure, test, and automate benefit calculations within administration platforms.
• Draft and review benefit specifications and scheme summaries to ensure clarity and accuracy.
• Conduct detailed data audits and reconciliations, resolving anomalies and ensuring data integrity.
• Translate complex technical information into clear, client-friendly explanations.
• Support project planning and delivery, meeting quality and timeline expectations.
• Identify and drive continuous improvements in tools, processes, and technology.

About You
You’ll bring a blend of analytical expertise, technical capability, and pensions knowledge, including:
• Proven experience in DB pensions administration, with hands-on involvement in data and calculation work.
• Strong analytical and data management skills, including data transformation, reconciliation, and automation.
• Experience drafting or reviewing technical documentation such as benefit specifications or summaries.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Excellent communication and organisational abilities, with a proactive, problem-solving mindset.

Why Apply?
Join a forward-thinking organisation that values innovation, accuracy, and collaboration. You’ll be part of a dedicated technical team that’s reshaping how pension data and transitions are delivered — supported by opportunities for development, recognition, and career progression
