Juliette Lister and Lisa Tremlett are currently assisting a Pensions Consultancy who are presently recruiting for a Technical Consultant
Primary purpose of the role: To deliver in-depth and high standards of policy and technical support to the Cabinet Office, employers, members, internal operational teams and external stakeholders.
This will be achieved by working with the Head of Policy & Technical to meet the team’s objectives as set by the Head of Business Controls.
The role is to monitor and research legislative developments, to ensure that all operational teams are informed of the implications, to engage with project and change initiatives, and to mentor/coach less experienced members of the team.
- Will be aligned to Civil Service so will need to be eligible to pass SC clearance.
- Will be part of the Business Controls team providing pensions technical support to internal colleagues specifically for civil service.
- Will be drafting comms, representing the business for the external clients, will go on meeting with the Civil Service client.
- Must possess:-
- Civil service pensions experience
- needs to have a pensions technical background, understanding of tax legislation and how this can impact the scheme, good knowledge of the scheme
