We’re looking for a strategic and driven Head of Policy – Technical to lead a team of expert consultants. This is a high-impact role where you’ll ensure compliance with legislation, drive policy development, and act as a key liaison. 


What You’ll Do 
  • Lead and develop a high-performing technical policy team. 
  • Ensure CSPS administration aligns with legislation, regulations, and government instructions. 
  • Represent the organisation at the Cabinet Office’s Policy & Technical Working Group. 
  • Own relationships with key stakeholders including HMRC, HMT, and The Pensions Regulator. 
  • Drive horizon scanning, risk mitigation, and readiness for policy changes. 
  • Support complex casework, complaints, and Ombudsman referrals. 

What We’re Looking For 
  • Proven leadership in pensions policy or technical consultancy. 
  • Strong understanding of public sector pensions, legislation, and governance. 
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills. 
  • Ability to manage complex technical issues and drive strategic outcomes.
