The Opportunity
They are seeking a talented DB Pension Consultant to join their team. In this role, you will provide expert advice on all aspects of DB pension schemes, from funding and governance to strategy development and regulatory compliance. This is a client-facing role with the opportunity to work on high-profile, challenging projects and influence decision-making at the highest levels.
Key Responsibilities:

Deliver expert advice to trustees and employers on DB pension matters, including funding, risk management, governance, and scheme design.

Prepare reports, strategy papers, and communications tailored to clients’ needs.

Support clients with regulatory compliance, including legislative and accounting developments.

Build and maintain strong client relationships and act as a trusted advisor.

Collaborate with colleagues across actuarial, investment, and administration teams to provide integrated solutions.

Contribute to business development and client engagement initiatives.
Experience & Skills:

Proven experience in DB pension consulting, ideally advising trustees and/or corporate clients.

Strong technical knowledge of UK DB schemes.

Professional qualifications desirable (PMI, FIA, or equivalent).

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to explain complex issues clearly.

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management capabilities.
