Are you passionate about ensuring regulatory compliance and driving operational excellence in the pensions sector? We’re looking for a detail-oriented and proactive pensions technical Specialist to join our team and provide independent oversight and analysis of adherence to Scheme Rules and regulations within our Pensions Business.
What You’ll Be Doing
Regulatory Adherence & Change Management
- Collaborate across first and second-line functions to ensure new and emerging Scheme Rules are understood and integrated into our adherence framework.
- Monitor and track legal and regulatory changes, supporting business owners with timely implementation.
- Maintain and evolve documentation including change processes.
- Facilitate regular meetings to ensure obligations are met and data integrity is maintained.
Control & Compliance Support
- Review breaches, audit findings, and compliance events to identify root causes and trends.
- Assess and enhance controls, identify gaps, and support implementation of improvements.
- Ensure business processes are accurately mapped and linked to regulatory obligations.
Reporting & Insight
- Produce insightful management information (MI) and reports for business owners and executive committees.
- Drive meaningful discussions through data-led analysis and reporting.
What You’ll Bring
Essential Skills & Experience
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Solid understanding of the pensions landscape.
- Analytical mindset with experience in process and risk/control analysis.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills, including presenting to executive level.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Visio, PowerPoint, Word).
- A proactive attitude and eagerness to learn and grow.
- Knowledge of pensions legislation and policy.
- Experience in pensions administration and calculations.
