About the role
- Newly created role dedicated to responsible investment for large, complex Pension Schemes
- You will develop and implement the Pension Schemes’ approach to systemic stewardship, with focus on climate change as a systemic risk
- Ensure RI principles are embedded across all asset classes and aligned with the schemes’ fiduciary duty, regulatory requirements, and long-term sustainability objectives
- Act as subject matter expert for the Pensions team, trustees and University key stakeholders
About you
- Proven ability to lead and deliver robust investment stewardship processes (e.g. responsible investment related stewardship due diligence, engagement project management) for complex pension schemes
- Bring an agile, resilient and collegiate approach with a track record of facilitating and leading change within a complex environment
- Skilled working with diverse specialist and generalist stakeholders as well as external advisors
