In this role, you will support the delivery of high-quality systems and data support across the UK Pensions Team. You’ll ensure data integrity, manage system access, manage cyber security policies, and provide expert consultancy aligned with pensions governance. You’ll also be responsible for providing accurate management information reporting, supporting bulk data processes, and helping to drive continuous improvement initiatives.

This is a fantastic opportunity to influence the future of pensions operations within a collaborative and forward-thinking environment.

Many of our employees work flexibly in a variety of different ways, including part-time, flexible hours, job share, an element of working from home or compressed hours. This is because we want the best people for our roles, and we recognise that sometimes those people aren’t available full-time. Please talk to us at the interview about the flexibility you may need.

What will you be doing?

  • Support the effective management of systems to meet the operational needs of the UK Pensions Team.
  • Provide expert consultancy to internal and external stakeholders, ensuring compliance with occupational pensions governance and Zurich policies.
  • Lead and deliver systems-related projects, including proactive data cleansing and quality assurance.
  • Manage and enforce the Scheme Cyber Security Policy in alignment with Zurich Group standards.
  • Produce accurate and timely management information reporting to support scheme operations and regulatory requirements.
  • Manage the provision of data to internal and external parties.
  • Drive process improvements across the UK Pensions & Benefits function to enhance efficiency and compliance.
  • Oversee bulk data processes and reporting to support operational and strategic objectives.

What are we looking for?

  • Strong knowledge of pensions administration systems and processes.
  • Proficient in Microsoft 365 applications, including Excel (with Power Query), Word, PowerPoint, Access, Project, and Power BI.
  • Good understanding of the regulatory environment and compliance requirements for occupational pension schemes.
  • Experience of managing cyber security threats, vulnerabilities, and risks relevant to pension schemes, with the ability to safeguard organisational assets.
  • Proven ability to analyse and interpret statistical data to support decision-making.
  • Demonstrated project management skills with experience in delivering systems and data-related initiatives.
  • Programming skills are advantageous.
  • Effective influencing and communication skills, with the ability to explain complex information in plain English.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
  • Able to work independently and collaboratively within cross-functional teams.

What’s in it for you?

  • Opportunity to shape the future of Zurich’s pension programs and deliver meaningful impact for our members.
  • Collaborate with a passionate, supportive team as part of a global business with a commitment to your growth.
  • Be at the forefront of innovative systems implementation and digital transformation.

As an inclusive employer, we want to ensure that all candidates feel comfortable and can perform at their best during the interview. You’ll have the opportunity to let us know of any reasonable adjustment or practical support needed when you apply.

What will you get in return?

Everyone’s different. That’s why at Zurich, we offer a wide range of employee benefits so our people can choose what fits them and their life. Our benefits provide real flexibility so our people can make considered choices and tailor their benefits throughout the year.
