The Vacancy

TPT is seeking a dedicated Pensions Implementation Specialist, with a focus on pension administration, to deliver high-quality support for our schemes and employers. If you’re passionate about service excellence and continuous improvement, we want to hear from you.

Role Overview

Provide technical oversight, quality controls, and comprehensive administration knowledge and support for pension implementation projects (such as bulk transfers in and out, new scheme onboarding, and buy ins and outs), ensuring data integrity and outstanding service to members, employers, and colleagues.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver excellent customer service and maintain accurate records.
  • Take responsibility for the accuracy and integrity of member and employer data at all times.
  • Manage and support all aspects of implementation administration, including reviewing scheme documentation, member guides, standard letters, and user acceptance testing.
  • Support and oversee scheme events during implementation, such as valuations, annual benefit statements, and data validation.
  • Act as a Subject Matter Expert for implementation projects and processes.
  • Manage and actively participate in the handover of schemes to the administration team, including designing and delivering training sessions.
  • Develop templates and proformas to support automation of calculations and validation of system outputs.
  • Collaborate across teams and identify process improvements.

Skills & Qualifications

  • Proven experience working with Defined Benefit pensions.
  • Proficiency in manual benefit calculations.
  • Intermediate level skills in Word & Excel.
  • Ability to train others and work independently with initiative.
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and organisational skills.
  • Adaptable and able to perform under pressure.
  • PMI Qualified or Part Qualified is desirable.
  • GCSEs (or equivalent) in Maths and English (C/4 or above).
