Senior DB Pensions Administrator

This dynamic, client focused, caring and inclusive administration provider is seeking experienced DB pensions professionals to join their Admin Team. You will provide a high quality pensions administration service assisting members and trustees.  You will work on a portfolio of different schemes ranging in size and type, although the team predominantly services Defined Benefit arrangements.  

About the role 

• Communicating with clients and scheme members on complex queries when required via letter, email and telephone. 
• Gain a thorough understanding of the scheme details administered in the team and ensure activities are processed in line with the scheme rules.  Performing complex pensions calculations, peer review of complex calculations as required, interpreting the rules of the schemes and other  documentation  
• Processes member events including Retirements, Deaths, Early leavers, Transfers In, Transfers Out and Illustrative quotations. 
• Escalating complex technical queries and issues  
• Managing annual and periodic scheme events 

About you  

• Previous experience of day-to-day pension administration and of working on DB, DC and CARE pension arrangements 
• Ability to work on own and to tight deadlines, maintaining exceptional standards of accuracy and attention to detail. 
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. 
• The ability to juggle multiple tasks and plan and organise your workload effectively.
