We’re looking for an experienced technical pensions specialist to join a small, high-calibre team in a broad and challenging role. This is an outstanding opportunity for someone with a strong background in occupational pensions, particularly defined contribution (DC) schemes, who thrives on working at the intersection of regulation, governance, and impactful stakeholder engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide technical expertise across regulatory and governance matters affecting occupational pension schemes
• Interpret complex legislation and guidance, translating it into practical implications for trustees and internal stakeholders
• Ensure regulatory compliance across the schemes
• Support and influence governance best practices, policy development, and strategic initiatives
Ideal Candidate:
• Extensive knowledge of DC pension schemes and the regulatory landscape surrounding them
• Proven experience in governance within occupational pensions, ideally from a consultancy, provider, or in-house background
• Comfortable navigating legal and regulatory frameworks, with strong interpretation and analytical skills
• Excellent communicator with strong influencing capabilities and stakeholder management skills
• Knowledge of Master Trusts is highly desirable, though not essential
• A team player who brings a proactive and solutions-focused approach
