Senior Client Relationship Manager – Pensions Consulting

Remote | Competitive Salary + Benefits

Are you an experienced pensions professional with a strong track record in client relationship management? Do you thrive in an environment where you can build long-term partnerships, provide strategic advice, and make a meaningful impact? If so, this opportunity could be the perfect next step.

Why Join?

  • Fully Remote Role – A rare chance to work from anywhere while maintaining a strong connection with clients and colleagues.

  • Specialist Focus – Work with a firm that offers a different scale and approach compared to large consultancy firms, giving you greater influence and flexibility.

  • Autonomy & Growth – Take ownership of a diverse client portfolio with room for progression in both the short and long term.

  • Client-Centric Approach – Be part of a team that prioritizes high-quality, tailored service over volume-driven targets.

The Role

As a Client Relationship Manager, you will oversee a portfolio of pension scheme clients, acting as their trusted advisor and primary point of contact. Your role will involve:

  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with trustees, corporate sponsors, and senior stakeholders.

  • Ensuring the delivery of exceptional pensions administration services with a proactive, solutions-driven approach.

  • Advising clients on governance, risk management, and regulatory requirements.

  • Leading client meetings, presenting reports, and overseeing strategic initiatives.

  • Identifying commercial opportunities and contributing to business growth.

  • Providing scheme secretarial support, ensuring compliance and best-practice governance.

What We’re Looking For

  • Proven experience in pensions administration or consultancy with direct client relationship responsibilities.

  • Strong knowledge of UK pensions legislation and governance.

  • Ability to influence and engage at trustee and corporate levels.

  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and commercial acumen.

  • PMI qualification (or equivalent) is preferred.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work in an agile, growing firm that values expertise, puts client relationships first, and offers a unique alternative to the big consultancy model.
