JOB DESCRIPTION
We have an exciting opportunity for an individual who has experience of SSASs and/or SIPPs to join our SSAS team as a Client Manager.
The role can be offered on a full or part-time basis. Working from home most days once initial induction period has been completed can be considered depending on business need. You will be assigned to one of our SSAS offices, for attendance at least twice a month: Amersham, Cheltenham, Bristol, Glasgow, Leeds, or Liverpool. Our London, Guildford or Birmingham offices could also be considered.
If you have working knowledge of handling various administration tasks relating to SSAS or SIPP, such as record-keeping, bank transaction reconciliation, handling investment requests, property transactions and member benefits, then we would be very interested in hearing from you to discuss what we have to offer.
No previous experience of client-facing work is required, though if you have, you may be fast-tracked into being promoted to the SSAS Client Manager role (or join on that basis, depending on experience level) which will enable you to manage your own portfolio of SSAS clients.
Responsibilities:
- The primary purpose of this role is to be accountable for a portfolio of SSAS clients, ensuring that the various regulatory requirements of administering a SSAS are complied with whilst ensuring that your clients’ needs are met in a professional manner.
- Depending on experience or progression, additional opportunities may be available to further our business needs, such as providing internal technical support to colleagues or being responsible for nurturing business relationships with introducers.
Qualifications
- At least 3 years’ recent experience with SSAS or SIPP, displaying broad knowledge
- Experience of interacting with clients directly, whether in administrative or client-facing role
- As a minimum, GCSE (or equivalent) in Maths and English at grade C / 5 or higher
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word and Microsoft Outlook is desirable, strong IT skills essential
- High levels of integrity and confidentiality as you will be dealing with sensitive information
