Fantastic opportunity for a skilled Pensions Accountant to join this in-house Finance team supporting a £multi-billion Pension Scheme. 


Hybrid working office based 2 days a week 

About the role 
  • You will provide oversight, financial accounting and control for the day-to-day investment finance operations 
  • Lead delivery of, and ongoing development, for the investment financial and accounting control environment, with a keen focus on risk reduction and best practice 
  • Ensure timely production of investment related financial reporting and disclosures for statutory accounting and management accounting services 
  • Work closely with the senior Finance team, seeking initiatives to improve or in supporting in projects 
  • Work closely with external providers, custodians, internal and external auditors 
  • Opportunity to get involved with covenant monitoring  

About you 
  • Holding a relevant professional qualification such as ACA, ACCA, you will draw on up to date technical knowledge of accounting for complex investment products and financial controls for pension schemes or investments, including Sarbanes Oxley 
  • With Pensions accounting or Pensions audit experience you may have gained experience in Investment audit or Investment financial control
