Do you have some international benefits experience? Don’t worry if it is not much, a little past or current experience will be enough to set you off on an exciting career trajectory in Global Benefits provision.

This is an in-house role, to review, design and manage the benefits programmes in place across over fifty countries (yes you read that right, fifty!) where your new employer operates.  You will seek to understand whether current provisions meet both legislative requirements and support the total reward strategy, so that you can govern and develop the company offerings for the future.  This role will report to the Global Head of Reward and is pivotal to ensure that the company deliver against their mission of providing inclusive benefits to attract, motivate and retain the best talent.

Don’t worry, you have plenty of time, our client sees just this project taking a minimum of two years, and even then, there may be companies/countries to re-visit. The role is forward and backward facing. Backward facing clean-up of inherited areas and creating a global inventory, and forward facing strategically addressing the top 15 counties. Undertaking ‘discovery’ work to collate what benefits are offered in each country and sending to an external specialist to bench mark and advise if the correct market position.  Where found lacking you will implement change for the better. With so much happening within this company there will always be new projects and work to be done, from ambitious growth plans to future ongoing acquisitions. Your goal will be an harmonisation of benefits current and future, always ready for the next acquisition and benefits review.

You will be a commercially savvy individual with excellent stakeholder management skills.  You must have strong negotiation skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and work well under pressure. This is a highly proactive and collaborative role and you will act as the key liaison point between both the People Team and key business stakeholders.  You will be someone with bags of enthusiasm, energy, resilience, diligence, cultural understanding and sensitivity. If you are confident this is you, even experience of one country’s international benefits will be enough to use across the globe, as countries rarely have the same benefits.

In terms of your own work location, the client’s main office is in the Midlands, and with so much company collaboration your presence would be required for a minimum of 1 day per week, preferably 3 days, but where this is not viable, then 1-day Midlands and 2 days London would also be acceptable. The world awaits! So please do get in touch ASAP if this role appeals, and you would like to apply or know more. Full job pack available upon application.
