About the Role:

Are you ready to take the helm in delivering exceptional pension services at Strictly Education? We have some exciting opportunities for Pension Administration Officers and Senior Pension Administration Officers to join our Local Government Pension Scheme (LGPS) Pensions Team on Permanent or Fixed Term Contracts.

Our Pension Administration Officers are pivotal in the delivery of Strictly Education’s comprehensive pension services. As part of our dynamic Pensions team, you’ll act as a first point of contact to clients and pension funds, handling queries efficiently and escalating complex issues to the Pension Manager as necessary.  

Our Senior Pension Administration Officers are the trailblazers of service excellence; day-to-day you’d leverage your specialist LGPS Pension Administration knowledge, skills and experience to deal with escalated and complex queries, surpassing client expectations. Supporting your team members, you’ll offer guidance, coaching and training on legislation, processes and administrative best practices. 

Your commitment to accurate and efficient administration, as well as your continuous improvement mindset, will ensure that service level agreements are not just met but exceeded.

What You Can Bring to the Role:

You will have:

  • A proven track record of delivering administrative service excellence in fast-paced environments, to Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
  • Exceptional customer service, communication and relationship building skills, including the ability to compliantly handle sensitive information.
  • Significant experience in or knowledge of Local Government Pensions (LGPS) or similar Pensions Administration settings.
  • Strong numerical aptitude, meticulous attention to detail, and accuracy.
  • Prior experience coaching, supporting and training colleagues.
  • Competency in MS Office, particularly intermediate to advanced Excel skills such as v-lookup.
  • A proactive approach to identifying opportunities for improvements and efficiencies.
  • The ability to balance multiple client accounts and projects simultaneously while maintaining precision.

Our Benefits:

Please note the pay range for these roles are between £25,000 - £29,000 per annum.

We work flexibly at Strictly Education, with our Pensions Team Members spending time at our Milton Keynes office as well as working from home.
