We are working closely with a Third Party Pensions Company to recruit for Senior and Associate Pensions Trustee Consultants (home based). 

18 months minimum Trustee experience is essential for both roles

Senior Pensions Trustee Consultant

What will you deliver?

  • Develop excellent relationships with client portfolio and understand their needs and objectives
  • Makes a significant personal contribution to the development of the team’s consulting capability, collateral and people
  • Able to effectively communicate complex and technical issues to clients and colleagues
  • Identifies solutions and risks for clients based upon an expert understanding of their situation and relevant technical, regulatory and statutory requirements
  • Maintains a client focus and concern for quality, which manifests itself in a high degree of client satisfaction and client/business retention
  • Assist Head of DB or DC Consulting & Scheme Management in achieving its practice objectives
  • Supports sales objective and develops personal and business sales pipelines

Who are we looking for?

  • Trustee experience and knowledge
  • DB Consulting Experience
  • DB Pensions experience in a client facing role this can include Scheme Events, GMP Equalisation, Buy In/Outs, Scheme Wind Up
  • You will have covered some or all of, scheme secretarial work, DB pensions projects, Consulting or actuarial project work  
  • Excellent analytical and communication skills
  • Very flexible to travel for client meetings

Associate Pensions Trustee Consultant

What will you deliver?

·        Provides a complete and professional support service to the Consultants, including preparation of draft communications, advice and papers produced within guidelines

·        Assists with preparation of new client agreements and scopes of work

·        Monitors time recording throughout the team ensuring correct protocols are observed.

·        Manages the team invoicing process

·        Updates the workflow processes for the team

·        Builds professional relationships with client’s and other parties (eg administrators, auditors and other practices) becoming liaison in the absence of the Consultants.

·        Liaises with other practice areas and external suppliers as required

·        Develops and continually strengthens pensions and benefits knowledge

·        Contributes to the development of the Consulting capability and collateral of the Consulting Solutions team

Who are we looking for?

·        Trustee experience (18 Months)

·        DB Pensions

·        Client facing experience

·        Excellent IT and organisational skills

·        Ability to work flexibly and able to work under pressure

·        Good communication skills

·        Proactive

·        Commercially aware

·        Works positively with colleagues and able to manage workflow
