Excellent opportunity to drive and deliver the Company wide services for the Pension Department where you will be responsible for the day to day administration of the Final Salary Pension Plan. Proposing new processes in order to maximise efficiencies within the Department.

About the role 
  • Support the Pensions Operations Manager, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and best practise, to help drive performance and maintain high standards - Provide technical support to the administration team on DB benefit calculations. 
  • Responsible for checking and calculating complex pension calculations. 
  • Responsible for calculating employee Annual Allowance calculations. 
  • Responsible for running the annual Pension Increase exercise. 
  • Ensuring robust governance of the pension scheme, including compliance with legislation and regulation 
  • Responsibility for in-house pension payroll including monthly authorisations, reconciliation of employees and the control framework and fraud prevention to ensure payments to and from the Pension Schemes are made accurately and within statutory time limits   

About you 
  • Knowledge of the administration, governance and communications of both defined benefit and defined contribution pension schemes 
  • Up to date understanding of pension rules and regulations in which pensions administration must be delivered 
  • Relevant professional qualifications 
  • User of MS Excel, Word and relevant payroll and pensions systems
