At Barnett Waddingham, we are currently recruiting an exciting opportunity for a Pension Administration Team Leader, to join a growing and enthusiastic team in our Cheltenham office. The successful Team Leader will come from a Pensions background, be an organised individual and have people management experience. 

Although your focus will be very much on managing the team and their service delivery, you may also have some client management responsibilities.  The way we work, means we can offer you a variety of developmental opportunities, which will align with your career aims and ambitions.

Responsibilities

  • Hold regular 1:1 meetings with team members to discuss their development and performance.  
  • Have an input into recruitment processes and conduct interviews when required.
  • Take responsibility for the team’s workload and monitor their performance.
  • Provide project management support. 
  • Hold regular team meetings to discuss any client issues. 
  • Liaise with stakeholders.
  • Undertake a pro-active client facing role, attending client and prospect meetings as required. 
  • Develop and retain good working relationships with a portfolio of clients.

Qualifications/Experience

  • DB pension administration experience is essential.
  • Client management experience is preferred.
  • Strong understanding and experience in using Microsoft Office programmes.
