As part of an expansion plan to upscale resource in this area, in your new role as a System Pension Analyst you will be responsible for developing and maintaining the Pension Administration system, working in the Pension Operation Team.

You will be providing a high quality service to system users and delivering an excellent colleague experience, making this a fantastic opportunity to champion best practice and risk, as part of a thriving and busy team.

You will be a first line response to capture, investigate and resolve system issues, whilst also dealing with the maintenance and development of the Pension's administration system, identifying areas for both systems and administration improvement, and constantly ensuring good governance and high quality assurance standards.   By capturing user feedback and system change requirements you will interpret user/change requirements and pension's technical requirements to draft system specifications and proposals.

You will be doing exciting work such as delivering system and administration projects (e.g. Pensions increase, Benefit Reports, other ad hoc projects), and have liaison with the administration teams, other internal teams and key stakeholders, providing support and training to the administration teams and member services teams, which will always ensure every day is different, varied and both challenging and rewarding, and you know you are valued.

If you have a strong level of Pension systems experience and/or Defined Benefit Pension Scheme administration, you will be able to quickly jump into and get to grips with this role and this background experience will serve you well. If you would still like to do this role but perhaps have different scheme or systems experience, but still good experience of technical benefit calculations, using pensions systems, are proficient in pension's calculations, and UK Pension's legislation this too is all needed and will lend well to the role. Any system testing experience is a bonus and desirable but not essential and can be learned on the job. Please do get in touch and review the full job profile to decide if you would like to apply.
