Ready for a newly new role? New for you, new for our client. This is a newly created role for a Pension Systems Administrator just like you! Your core function will be to assist in developing and maintaining the Pension's Pension Administration system, performing senior administration duties to assist the administration team and delivering an excellent colleague experience.  You will report to the internally named Pensions System Owner, and quickly become an integral part of the systems team and administration function.

You will be responsible for assisting in the development and maintenance of the Pension Administration system, supporting the Systems and Administration teams in delivering system projects, developing different areas of the system. At the forefront of this business is the foundation of how the team deliver for members and colleagues every day.

You will be the first line response to capture and investigate system issues, and maintain the systems issue log. Undertaking systems testing, lead User Acceptance Testing (UAT) reporting and resolving issues and errors.  You will also deal with general system maintenance and system housekeeping tasks, assisting in the processing and delivery of Annual Scheme Events and Technical projects e.g. Year-end, Pension Increases, Benefit Reports and other ad hoc projects.

This role will particularly suit someone with strong Defined Benefit Pension scheme administration knowledge along with technical benefit calculation experience, and experience of using pension systems (systems testing desirable but not essential but will form part of the role once commenced), automated calculations and processes, data manipulation in Excel or Access and ideally you will be up to date with pension's legislation.  This may be too much for one person at this level, so if you know you have the right building blocks to commence the role and learn the missing parts, please don’t be afraid to apply.
