Another great contract role for someone with good DB knowledge.
Duties will include; Analysis and interpretation of scheme documentation, Trustee/Lawyer and actuarial instructions. Production of calculation specifications (including Benefit Spec if appropriate), as well as the production of test matrices and test cases.
You will provide full analyst and programming support for client projects such as benefit design changes interfacing with both operational teams and clients. You will be involved with scheme specific and investigation work, including DB, DC, Hybrid, existing schemes, scheme interfaces, scheme mergers, pension payrolls, interfaces, national template updates, Unit and Regression testing.
You will not need to be a programmer / coder for this role but be happy to support the programmers in the team. Experience of testing is essential with the focus being on calculations.
Alongside good pensions knowledge you will have the ability to take responsibility for the quality of your own work, using your initiative to achieve the required results.
