SKILLS / REQUIREMENTS:

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and telephone protocol. Duties require professional verbal and written communication skills. This is normally acquired through two to four years of clerical experience.
  • Knowledge of SSAS-Pro and or SIPP-Pro databases would be an advantage.
  • Excellent communication skills both written and oral.
  • Ability to use initiative to organise and prioritise work and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to work as part of a team and use own initiative where applicable.
  • Ability to operate data management and filing systems, and interpret and analyse data.
  • Ability to initiate and prepare routine correspondence, reports and memos.
  • Keyboard skills including word processing, and updating database and spreadsheet applications.
  • Reception skills including effective answering of telephone and face to face contact with the clients and professional advisers.
  • Financial skills with an ability to understand and analyse figures.
  • Ability to assimilate new information, put plans into action and offer constructive comment regarding the day to running of the department.
