An exciting opportunity has opened up within our Defined Benefits Team in the shape of a Client Relationship Transition Support role. This would be an ideal position for someone seeking a varied and exciting career within an Award Winning Financial Services Company who operates in a booming market space.
Within this role you will be a key part of the Transition Team and wider Defined Benefit Business Development Team, providing proactive assistance and support to them, which you will achieve by having your finger on the pulse, a great attitude and ability to organise and prioritise your day.
No two days will be same in this fast paced environment and you will be given the opportunity to get involved with a variety of different tasks and over time would be expected to take on further responsibility as your confidence and competence in the role grows.
An exciting and important part of this role is meeting our clients. There will be occasional travel required within this role (once Covid Restrictions are lifted to allow this) for any face to face client meetings/visits you need to attend.
Attend progress calls with clients and administrators to understand how data cleanses are progressing and provide support to ensure they are on track.
In the absence of the Transition Manager, be a point of contact for clients and provide ad hoc cover by chairing meetings.
Support with project management by producing and updating project plans to ensure successful transition of won cases to the administration system.
Work with and support other DB teams to understand the areas of work required in the data cleanse.
Arrange internal and external calls and meetings, whilst accurately minuting these calls and circulating notes in a timely manner.
Check and analyse data received from clients, including reviewing benefit specifications and query logs.
Carry out verification of members details and report the results to the Transition Manager.
Produce draft presentations for relevant meetings, ensuring requirements of the client are met (including briefing packs).
Support our relationships with Independent and Professional Trustees by researching trustees and their companies, setting up and attending meetings with them and following up on actions where appropriate.
Complete ‘Know Your Customer’ checks for potential clients.
Able to work under pressure to achieve objectives within agreed timescales, without compromising accuracy and quality.
Extremely organised, with the ability to make intelligent decisions when faced with competing priorities.
Someone who enjoys working and communicating with a range of people at different levels.
Excellent at both verbal and written communication, with great interpersonal skills.
Self-motivated with a high level of initiative/drive.
Confident and would not be phased by meeting Internal/External Stakeholders of varying seniority.
Proficient in Microsoft Computer Suite with experience of Powerpoint, Excel, Outlook & Word.
